Agenda 2026

The definitive timeline of our expeditions for the upcoming season.

Summer Series for Fun

  • 1st June to 15th August:

Short Treks on demand. 1 - 5 days.

No dates set. Just call us to arrange, or find out what is coming together.

  • 5th to 11th July (7 days)

    Mid-Summer Trek

First of our major treks: a balmy and relaxing summer adventure. A short journey by road to Zuunmod and visit Mansushir Monastery. Then we leave all that behind and head across the steppe towards Bayan Unjuul before arriving at the Baga Gazaarin Chuluu rock formation, where we camp for the night. The next day we continue on to Mandalgobi and take a night's rest in the hotel. Third day we visit the Ikh Gazarin Chuluu Rock Formation and then head north to the ancient Chinese fortress, where we camp for the night. For the return we cut across the Mongolian high plateau back to Zuunmod. Then veer East to visit the Chingis Khan Statue Complex, Terelj N. P. and finish at our ger camp in Gachurt with an evening meal and traditional music concert.

  • 2nd to 8th August (7 days)

    India - Mongolia Friendship Trek

Led by Khuslen and Shivani, we are very proud to offer for the first time our "India - Mongolia Friendship Trek" organised in association with our Indian sister company "Tehmussin Arts & Music", based in Lucknow, UP. This week is a programme of activites mildly spiced to Indian tastes with an insight into historical ties between India and Mongolia

and High Adventure

  • 16th to 22nd August (7 days)

    "Outlaw Week"

The first of a 4 week series of adventures, and a review of everything we have: bikes, jeeps, sidecars, treks, UB nightlife, music, entertainment and games. Hosted by our guest star guides Jesse and William (hence the name).

  • 23rd - 1st Sept (10 days)

    Red Devil Redemption

2nd/3rd weeks: Yes, you do remember "The Long Way Round" with Ewen and Charley. Well, the Red Devil is alive and well and living with us in Ulaan Baatar, and heading for the UK. This really is "High Adventure", and this is where it starts. This is Part 1 of the return journey, retracing the route of TLWR across Central Mongolia and finishing at the western border, ready for part 2 - planned for next year. And yes, the actual Red Devil will be the featured bike in this ride.

  • 2nd - 12th September (11 days)

    The Great North Route Home

3rd/4th weeks: Having accompanied the Red Devil to the Western Border of Mongolia, we take the northern route from the Altai via Khovskol lake to get the rest of the bike fleet back to UB in the early days of the autumn calm.

  • 13th - 19th September (7 days)

    Jeeps are go!

We can run the bikes up to 15th October, depending upon weather and personal inclination. But from mid Sept we start to favour the jeeps. This one in timed to give you the option of a bike trek from the Altai Mountains all the way to UB, and then spend a week with the jeeps discovering Tov Aimag and the Terelj.
